God's Appointments
In 2000 I went on a Woman's retreat weekend. It was a good time but when I came home I discovered that I was no longer able to write notes during the sermons as has always been our practice.
I have also not been able to focus during times of prayer and although it has worried me, I have never been able to speak to anyone about it.
This week the visiting speaker, George Grispos, ministered to me in prayer and prophecy in the service and God began to move something within me. I was able to share with my husband Alan about it on the way home and he prayed with me to break this unwanted hindering oppression.
We are part of the South African church who meet at New Malden EFC every Sunday afternoon and while writing the date in my notebook during the meeting last evening, I realised that the camp was Mother's Day May 2000 – exactly eight years ago to the date!
God's appointments are always spot on which makes our walk so incredibly exciting. - Trish Smith.
